Terms of service
These Terms of Service apply when you use the Mystery31 online store or purchase products directly from us.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with any product-specific information shown on the relevant listing.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
Products
Mystery31 specialises in trading card games and collectibles, which may include:
- Trading card singles
- Graded cards and slabs
- Sealed booster boxes and packs
- Starter decks and other sealed products
- Mystery packs and randomised products
- Other TCG and collectible products
Our inventory may include products from Pokémon, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Union Arena and other trading card games.
Product descriptions and condition
We aim to describe products accurately.
Please review photographs, condition information and product descriptions before purchasing.
For individual trading cards, minor manufacturing variations may exist.
Where a specific condition is stated, the item will be supplied according to the description and photographs provided.
Graded cards
Graded cards have been assessed by the grading company shown on the relevant listing.
A grading company's assessment is an independent third-party opinion.
Mystery31 does not guarantee that another grading company would assign the same grade, nor do we guarantee that a graded card will maintain or increase its market value.
Mystery and randomised products
Some Mystery31 products may contain randomised contents.
Where this applies, the listing will describe the product structure and any guaranteed contents or relevant information.
Purchasing a randomised product does not guarantee that the customer will receive a particular card, character, rarity, grade or monetary value unless the listing expressly states otherwise.
The resale or market value of trading cards and collectibles can change and is not guaranteed.
Mystery31 does not guarantee that the contents of a randomised product will equal or exceed its purchase price unless this is expressly stated in the product listing.
Any advertised guaranteed contents will be honoured.
Pricing
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the store.
Shipping charges and any applicable additional costs will be displayed before the order is completed.
We may change prices at any time, but price changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted.
If an obvious pricing, description or technical error occurs, we reserve the right to contact the customer and, where legally permitted, cancel and refund the affected order rather than fulfil an order based on a clear error.
Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected goods.
An order may be refused or cancelled where reasonably necessary, including where:
- The item is no longer available
- A significant pricing or listing error has occurred
- Payment cannot be authorised
- We cannot deliver to the supplied address
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the applicable amount will be refunded.
Availability
Many trading cards and collectibles are available in limited quantities.
Adding a product to your basket does not necessarily reserve that product until checkout has been successfully completed.
Payments
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Payment processing may be carried out by Shopify or another authorised payment provider.
Mystery31 does not intentionally store full payment-card details supplied through Shopify's secure payment systems.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy.
Customers must provide an accurate and complete delivery address.
Where goods are being delivered to a customer, responsibility for the goods transfers in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Returns and cancellations
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable consumer law.
No provision in these Terms is intended to remove a customer's statutory rights.
Intellectual property
The Mystery31 name, branding, store graphics and original content created for Mystery31 may not be copied or commercially reproduced without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trading card names, characters, logos and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Mystery31 is an independent retailer unless a product listing specifically states otherwise.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for changes in the resale, grading or investment value of collectible products after purchase.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the store, our services or applicable legal requirements.
The version applying to an order will generally be the version in effect when that order was placed.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country or region.
